Nepal - a little news & a big 'thank-you'!
Since 25th April, when a major earthquake struck Nepal, our thoughts have been with the people of this small, proud nation which has such special ties with Britain. For 30 years, Naturetrek has been operating treks and holidays in Nepal and during that time we have made a great many friends and colleagues there. In response to the disaster, we launched an appeal to raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated — you have helped us raise nearly £40,000 (so far!).
If you would like to help us raise more money to help communities affected by the disaster in Nepal just visit our appeal’s fundraising page to donate: https://www.justgiving.com/Naturetrek-Nepal/. Thank you again for your generous support.

We have been liaising closely with our friends and colleagues in Nepal since the first earthquake struck on 25th April and have been guided by their information and wishes — which are to encourage people to visit Nepal. Further news about our appeal, and a full update on conditions in Nepal and our tours to the country can be found in our Summer Newsletter, which is due to be printed in early July. We will be offering a new extension to Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge, as well as a new tailormade butterfly-watching itinerary.
