Dea Zyruku
Dea is an ornithologist from Albania, with a Master of Science degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Tirana. She has several years of experience in bird conservation, having worked at PPNEA, a leading environmental NGO in Albania and a BirdLife partner, as well as at the National Agency of Protected Areas in Albania. Currently, Dea is pursuing a PhD at the University of Potsdam in Germany, where her research focuses on bird communities in the Vjosa River National Park, recognized as Europe's first and only designated Wild River National Park. Dea enthusiastically leads Naturetrek groups in Albania, where she showcases her deep passion for birds and biodiversity.
