Go Slow

Go Slow

Our programme of ’Go Slow’ wildlife holidays aims to allow guests to enjoy the natural world at a more leisurely pace. These holidays offer direct flights, gentle terrain and 6 hours in the field each day, allowing guests to return to a comfortable hotel in time for afternoon tea, and with ample time for reading, painting, swimming or pottering! Naturetrek’s ‘Go Slow’ destinations include India, Alderney, Kenya, Southern Cyprus, Trinidad, Extremadura and Sweden.

Our ‘Go Slow’ specialist recommends…

"If you’re looking for wonderful wildlife and great hospitality at a slower, more relaxing pace, our Go Slow portfolio could be just right. Consider Go Slow Extremadura based at Viña las Torres in the heart of Extremadura countryside for some of Europe’s top birdwatching or, for something more exotic, Go Slow Trinidad at the incomparable Asa Wright Centre."

We cannot praise our tour leader, Rob Miteto and the two local naturalists, Otto Schmidt and Cathy Jenkins highly enough. There was nothing that was too much trouble and they worked tirelessly on everyone’s behalf. Their knowledge and enthusiasm made the holiday really special.

Mr and Mrs Course
Go Slow ... in Sweden

The holiday was billed as focussing on owls and woodpeckers and it certainly hit the mark. Daniel is an excellent leader, he made sure all members of the party saw the birds. The situation of the hotel was excellent and appeared to be at the centre of all the visited sites, also a short transfer from the airport. Loved the Swedish countryside. A great holiday.
