Corentin Rombeaut
Corentin Rombeaut grew up in the south of France, near Toulouse. From the age of 5, Corentin fell in love with wildlife, a passion inherited from his parents who were birdwatchers. He spent his youth looking for bears, wolves and other mammals in the Pyrenees with his father, whilst also studying any invertebrates, reptiles and amphibians he could find.
Corentin has been living in Colombia for 10 years, where he studied herpetology and primatology, as well as training to become a guide. Corentin loves his tour leading job and above all is passionate about making sure that the people accompanying him have a complete experience, not only to see the animals, but also to get to know Colombia, to connect with the territory and the communities that live there.
When he is not guiding, Corentin works on a project on the taxonomy and distribution of primate populations in Colombia, whilst also assisting with a primate conservation project with reserves in Putumayo. In addition to this, he enjoys traveling to new habitats to learn about new species, landscapes and cultures. He also enjoys reading, drawing animals and watching rugby games.
