Duncan Stevenson
Ever since Duncan was a boy, he has had a passion for nature and bird watching and he enjoys nothing better than sharing this with everyone and anyone. Duncan is a countryside management consultant based near Biggar in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. He has worked in the countryside management sector for over 30 years; initially as a volunteer, then full time Ranger and Countryside Manager, mainly for the National Trust for Scotland (NTS). He has been responsible for managing several countryside properties and delivering projects at numerous sites throughout Scotland, including wonderful places such as Glencoe, St Kilda, Isle of Canna and Torridon. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience of Scottish and North Atlantic landscapes and natural heritage, and a strong interest in ornithology. Duncan is a keen hill walker with experience volunteering on the mountain rescue team on the Isle of Arran. Duncan lives with his wife, three children and an ever-increasing menagerie of animals.
