Duncan Woodhead
Duncan spent his early years in Yorkshire and has subsequently lived in the north of Bedfordshire where he developed an interest in wildlife, and particularly, ornithology, spending much of his spare time carrying out BTO and Wildfowl surveys. He is a licensed bird ringer and held the position of Bedfordshire Ringing Coordinator for a number of years. He has since travelled widely in search of the natural wonders of the world, countries including India, Nepal, those in Africa, Brazil, North America & Canada and much of Europe. He has now retired from a career in Telecommunications and has recently developed a passion in wildlife photography, particularly mammals, spending long hours in the countryside in search of that special intimate wildlife encounter that can be captured on camera and this is portrayed on his Flickr page.
