Miguel Ajahuana

Born in 1982, Miguel Ajahuana is a Peruvian national naturalist guide.  He earned a tourism degree at the University of Cusco and then used his skills to lead wildlife and birding trips in the Amazon of Peru. Miguel has 8 years experience of guiding in Cusco and Manu in Peru, and has turned into one of the finest birding guides for Amazonian avifauna. Since 2014, Miguel has been based in Brazil, and this country is now his main focus. From his base in Alta Floresta he manages a Harpy Eagle and Amazon project as well as leading both wildlife and photographic tours.
