This tour will allow us to explore the coast of north-east Scotland around Aberdeen, visiting some of the best coastal birdwatching sites to be found there, as well as going inland to the woodland and moorland areas for resident species. During the tour we will be looking for arriving birds that will winter in Scotland, as well as being likely to see a variety of passerines that regularly stop off during their southerly migration, and maybe a few surprises too!

- Loch of Strathbeg where thousands of geese are starting to gather.
- Returning flocks of waders and other water birds.
