Turkey's unique position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia makes it a remarkable melting pot, home to a mix of natural and human history unlike anywhere else on Earth. Spectacular are the country’s fauna and flora; straddling two continents and a stone’s throw away from a third, Turkey supports a surprising combination of wildlife, as well as providing an ideal thoroughfare for migratory species travelling between Africa and Eurasia. On this 8-day holiday we will visit habitats little-explored by western naturalists in search of such sought-after species as Caucasian Grouse, Caspian Snowcock, Mountain Chiffchaff, Armenian Gull, Blue-cheeked Bee-eater, Grey-necked Bunting, Mongolian Finch and a plethora more!

  • Eastern specialities including Caspian Snowcock, Caucasian Grouse, Blue-cheeked Bee-eater and Mountain Chiffchaff
  • Sought-after Western Palearctic passerines including Green and Ménétries's Warblers, Grey-necked Bunting, Mongolian Finch and Pale Rockfinch
