Brian Bandera has a smile as wide as his knowledge of Zimbabwe and Southern Africa. He is one of Zimbabwe’s finest guides and always makes sure he is the difference between a good holiday and the trip of a lifetime. Born and raised in Kariba, one of Zimbabwe’s prime destinations, Brian developed a love of nature and the outdoors from his early childhood days. This saw him join a tour guiding school straight out of school and qualified as a Professional Guide in 2009.
Brian has achieved the top guiding qualification in Zimbabwe and qualified amongst the best. He’s never looked back. With extensive knowledge of the local flora and fauna, specialising in Private Guided Safaris (including walking safaris, specialist wildlife, and birding tours, Brian has led many safaris around Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana.
Brian is the friendliest guide you can ever meet, keen and always looking out for the best possible ways to give his clients an unforgettable safari experience. His knowledge of birds, plants, wildlife, geology, history and the varied cultures of Zimbabwe is next to none and he takes great joy in sharing this with his clients. When he is not on safari, Brian is at home in Victoria Falls with his wife and kids and occasionally goes on solo camping safaris to "re-tool" as he likes to call it.
