We offer room-share options on all of our holidays, but also appreciate that many of our guests would prefer the privacy and comfort of single occupancy accommodation. In some destinations, particularly in the Americas, hotels charge us the same flat room fee, regardless of how many people occupy the room, and this inevitably results in higher costs for travellers requiring single occupancy. The same is true of cruise ships, which have the same high operational costs regardless of how many people travel, thus making single occupancy of a double/twin cabin expensive.
We continue to challenge the hotels on their policies, and endeavour to keep single supplements as low as possible. In certain destinations, hoteliers are much more amenable to offering value to single travellers, and we are therefore delighted to offer the selection of holidays below, all of which have some allocated rooms that incur no supplement (subject to availability). If you wish to request one of these rooms, please state this in your notes when booking. We hope to be able to add many more holidays to this list in the future.
