David Pierce

David joined us as part of the former Caledonian Wildlife team and has now been a regular guide for 16 years. He has lived in the Highlands for over 30 years with his wife and family, where he has gained extensive knowledge of this wonderful area. Having a lifelong interest in natural history and wild places, he has previously worked on species protection for the RSPB in the Highlands and still continues in the monitoring of species for the Highland Raptor Study Group. In pursuit of his interest in birds, wildlife and walking Dave has travelled to South America, Africa and Asia, plus many European countries. He has escorted tours to Spain, France, Finland, Poland, Romania, Botswana, Tanzania and Scotland.
