Living on the edge of the South Downs National Park, Jacob has had a fascination with the natural world from an early age. Encouraged by his parents, it was not a surprise when post university he decided up on a career in ecology. For the last decade Jacob has worked for a local authority managing a large portfolio of nature reserves in West Sussex.
Jacob has a wide range of interests, particularly birds, dragonflies, butterflies, plants and moths. His passion for wildlife is endearing and you can usually find him out in the field or surveying for a particular species. Having travelled throughout Europe as well as Asia and Africa his knowledge is ever advancing and his jovial outlook ensures a light-hearted tour.
