Marcus Eldh

Marcus was born and raised in the forests of Bergslagen, a couple of hours' drive west of Stockholm. Although he actually studied computer science, Marcus spent much of his time in the great outdoors, developing his knowledge and love of nature. After being inspired by travels in South-east Asia, especially the Orangutan-guides in Sumatra, Marcus decided to offer Moose-watching tours in his home forests in 2002. Searching for Beavers, Bears and Wolves soon followed, and Marcus now spends a lot of time tracking these animals in their natural habitat. He started leading tours for Naturetrek groups in 2007, and specialises in Wolves, but is an excellent all-round naturalist.
