Sanoj Wijayasekara

Sanoj Wijayasekara is deeply interested in reptiles and amphibians, focusing primarily on their evolution and ecology. He completed his higher studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. Sanoj has co-authored the book "Snakes of Sri Lanka" (in Sinhala) and is actively involved in IUCN Red List assessments of amphibians and reptiles as an expert committee member. Additionally, he is a founding member of the Wild Island Foundation and is currently pursuing his postgraduate studies (MPhil) on amphibians. Sanoj possesses expert knowledge about the reptiles and amphibians of Sri Lanka.
