Tiger Safaris in India
India is home to over 70% of the world's wild tigers, with the most recent national census recording more than 3,600 individuals across the country's network of dedicated reserves.
From the sal forests of Madhya Pradesh to the grasslands of Ranthambore and Kanha, there is no better place on Earth to see this magnificent predator in its natural habitat. India holds a special place in our hearts as, nearly forty years ago, in a little-known national park called Kanha, we launched the first-ever commercial Tiger-watching tour. This tour, Just Tigers, has remained one of our most popular holidays ever since! Subsequently, we have expanded our specialist wildlife and birdwatching holidays across India, from Brahmaputra cruises to searching for Red Pandas in pristine forests. Our programme ranges from focused short breaks at reserves such as Bandhavgarh and Kanha to wider itineraries combining tigers with India's exceptional birdlife and other big cats, including Leopard, available as small-group tours or fully tailormade to your interests.
