Botswana Desert & Delta – A Wildlife Gallery

Botswana is one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations, offering exceptional game-viewing and outstanding birding. Much of the country is given over to protected reserves, allowing wildlife to move naturally across vast landscapes from the Okavango Delta’s seasonal floodplains to the arid Kalahari and the great salt pans. Our Botswana's Desert & Delta (Mammals) tour focuses on the eastern Okavango Delta, splitting time between the Khwai Concession and Moremi Game Reserve to target key species such as Lion, Leopard, African Wild Dog, Elephant, Buffalo, and much more.

Below we present a small selection of photographs taken by Carol Wiles during the May 2026 tour.
