Summary

On 12th August 2026, a total eclipse of the Sun will occur across north-eastern Spain, and this exciting tour will put us right in the best place to see it! In addition, we will enjoy the very best of the region’s wildlife. We will visit the dramatic peaks of the Picos de Europa in the heart of the Cantabrian Mountains, famous for their scenery, birds and other wildlife, and the Montaña Palentina Natural Park, which offers raptors and other wildlife in abundance. Add to this a sea crossing with some of the best seabird- and cetacean-watching possibilities in Europe, and you have the makings of a very memorable trip indeed!

Food

All meals included except those on the ferry.

Accommodation

Twin cabins (bunk beds) on the ferry. If you are interested in upgrading cabins, or if you would prefer a single occupancy cabin, please let us know as this will be possible for an additional fee. We will be using comfortable hotels in Spain and all rooms will have private facilities.
