Thanks to the absence of land-based predators on the islands, these unique creatures are also largely unfazed by the presence of humans, enabling close encounters and exceptional photography opportunities.
Exploring the Galápagos by cruise is a wonderful way to experience the region’s remarkable natural history, offering the best of both worlds with chances to view wildlife from above and below the waves.
